My Mom and Dad came for a Visit

My parents came into town last week for vacation. It was so nice to see them since we have not seen them since Christmas. The girls were so excited to see their Mimi and Papa. While my parents were here we took them to the Nascar hall of Fame, we went and tour a Nascar shop, mining for stones and then to Lazy 5 Ranch. We also hung out at the pool one day. It was such a great time with my parents.

Brooke being silly girl!

The only way Brooke would feed the animals is throw the food. She did not want them eating out of her hand.

You could not feed the Zebras because they would bite you.

Sydney feeding the animals. There were some animals you could only feed by hand because if you tried with the bucket they would steal it from you.

New baby giraffe that was just borned the day before we came. It could hardly walk and it had the biggest eyes.

Feeding time for the baby camel and sheep. Both were only a couple of weeks old.

This baby giraffe was two weeks old. It had that bottle gone in no time.

Trying to eat the metal to get out.

Where did the School Year Go To?????

I can not believe that Sydney is no longer a first grader but now a second grader. I don't understand where the school year went too. She did so great this school year and we can not be more proud of her. Now I know why everybody says that to enjoy your time with them because it goes by way to fast.

Brooke has also grown so much from last fall to now. She is for sure my little stinker and what they say about giving you your easy one first is so true. Brooke does push every button she can with us but we would not change her for anything. (OK maybe sometimes I might)

Now come this fall I will have a second grader and a preschooler. Brooke will be going to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 12. I truly hope that she does great and that I don't get a lot of phone calls or notes home we will see with her.

I do have two different girls for sure but would not change them for anything. (OK maybe sometimes I might) So proud of each of them!!!

Sydney's First Grade Fun Day

Sydney school had a first grade fun day. All the first grade classes were involved in this. They went outside to their court yard and there were several games set up for them to play. They rotated to each game. They started out with relay sponge race, bubbles, music mats, beach balls, bean bag toss, ball spoon race, ice cream, ball, dancing, parachute, beach volley ball, jump rope and last was hula hoops. I took Brooke with me and she has so much fun. The only thing was that it was 90 outside and no shade so it made for a hot morning. Sydney was so happy that I came up for it. It was for sure a fun day!
