Our Girls: Brooke Turns Four!!

I can not believe that Brooke is four. I remember the day that I went in to have her and Sydney was four. Now Sydney is eight and Brooke turned four. No that does not mean we are having another one those days are done and we are happy with our two beautiful girls.

When we asked Brooke what kind of party she wanted she said that she wanted a Cinderella party and that she wanted Cinderella to come to her birthday party. We have been to two other birthday parties where they had a princess come to the party so we went through the same company and had Cinderella come to her birthday party. Everything about her party was princess/Cinderella theme. She had seven girls come to the party all within her age. When each girl came to the house they got a princess crown and wand and that girl was a princess for the party. When Cinderella came to the house she gave Brooke her own special crown and a bracelet. She also painted the girls faces, she then did a magical show which Brooke helped, she then did balloon animals and then she took pictures with the girls and stayed and sang Happy Birthday to Brooke. I have to say that Brooke and her friends had a great time.

After Cinderella left the girls had cake, and then Brooke opened up her birthday gifts. Brooke also got a surprise visit from Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike and then we were all surprised because Mimi and Papa Smith came also. We had a house full but it was so great to have family in town since we have not seen anybody since Christmas. That is the one thing that stinks is we have to wait so long to see anybody after Christmas. It always seems like forever before we see anybody.

Later on that night Brooke opened up her gifts from the family and she got to open one from us (we saved the rest until her birthday). She had a great birthday weekend.

Since her birthday fall on Tuesday and she does not go to school on Tuesday I went up there on Monday with cupcakes and little goody bag for her class. Brooke's teacher gave her a barbie and lip glass. I do love Brooke's teacher and the preschool she goes to she loves going there and ask me everybody day if she has school.

On her birthday (Tuesday) she got to pick where she wanted to go for dinner. This is a tradition that we started with Sydney I believe when she was two. They love to go to Red Robin because they sing to them and give them ice cream so we went to dinner at Red Robin and then she came home and open more presents from us and also from Mimi and Papa Krause. Since I also watch kids after school and had leftover cupcakes they had them after school and sang Happy Birthday to Brooke. She thought that was great.

I will have to say that she had a great birthday and since she is now four she also gets two vitamins which she thinks is pretty great and reminds me at bed time that she now gets two. We also took the bed rail off her bed which she has not fell out of bed and she also thinks that is pretty great too. My baby is not a baby anymore she is a big girl but I always tell my girls that even though you are big girls you will always be my babies know matter how big you get!!!
