Sydney's Soccer Banquet

Soccer season went by so fast but I'm glad it did because it was starting to get to HOT!! Sydney had a great season. A lot of her friends from the neighborhood were on her team this season. Her team was called Blue Hawks. The end of the season we had a pizza party and they got trophies for playing. However they only won two games this season but they were the youngest team. They played against 9 & 10 years old on a 7 & 8 team. Their team played hard this season!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike came to visit and they got to see Sydney's last soccer game. Her team played great and hard but they did not win. After the game and lunch we took Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike to Dan Nicholas park where we rode a train, saw some animals and mine for gems. The pool also also opened that weekend so we went swimming. It was a great weekend with family.

Brooke Goes to the Dentist

Last week Brooke had her first trip to the dentist. She did great. No cavities for the first time. She sat up in the chair like a big girl and let them clean her teeth. When she was done getting her teeth clean Dr. Ferrell came in to check her teeth and she put out her hand to shake his hand and told him that her name was Brooke. She was being such a ham. At our office they take a picture of the kids when they are done and put them on the smile board. So now she is on there with her sister. She was so excited. My baby is not a baby anymore she is a big girl for sure.

Flordia/Disney Spring Break

For our family vacation we took the girls to Florida. We spent three days in Cocoa Beach where my sister and here family were finishing their spring break so we got to spend three days with them enjoying the pool and the beach. We then left on Monday to go to Disney for the rest of our vacation. Sydney has been to Disney twice before this but this was Brooke's first time and she had a great time.

While we were on vacation Sydney got sick and we had to take her to urgent care to find out that she had strep throat. Even though she was not feeling good she had a great time.

The weather was HOT the whole time we were there. It was high 80's to 90. It only rained one time the whole time we were there. While we were there we had breakfast and dinner with some of the characters. I think the best one we went too would be dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Step Mother and two Step Sisters. They played the parts great. The girls had a great time with them at dinner. We were all laughing.

It was a great vacation and we all had a great time.

Easter dinner was pizza. It was really good but weird eating pizza on Easter instead of ham and all the other good stuff.
