Sydney's First Grade Fun Day

Sydney school had a first grade fun day. All the first grade classes were involved in this. They went outside to their court yard and there were several games set up for them to play. They rotated to each game. They started out with relay sponge race, bubbles, music mats, beach balls, bean bag toss, ball spoon race, ice cream, ball, dancing, parachute, beach volley ball, jump rope and last was hula hoops. I took Brooke with me and she has so much fun. The only thing was that it was 90 outside and no shade so it made for a hot morning. Sydney was so happy that I came up for it. It was for sure a fun day!

Sydney's Soccer Banquet

Soccer season went by so fast but I'm glad it did because it was starting to get to HOT!! Sydney had a great season. A lot of her friends from the neighborhood were on her team this season. Her team was called Blue Hawks. The end of the season we had a pizza party and they got trophies for playing. However they only won two games this season but they were the youngest team. They played against 9 & 10 years old on a 7 & 8 team. Their team played hard this season!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike came to visit and they got to see Sydney's last soccer game. Her team played great and hard but they did not win. After the game and lunch we took Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike to Dan Nicholas park where we rode a train, saw some animals and mine for gems. The pool also also opened that weekend so we went swimming. It was a great weekend with family.
