Flordia/Disney Spring Break

For our family vacation we took the girls to Florida. We spent three days in Cocoa Beach where my sister and here family were finishing their spring break so we got to spend three days with them enjoying the pool and the beach. We then left on Monday to go to Disney for the rest of our vacation. Sydney has been to Disney twice before this but this was Brooke's first time and she had a great time.

While we were on vacation Sydney got sick and we had to take her to urgent care to find out that she had strep throat. Even though she was not feeling good she had a great time.

The weather was HOT the whole time we were there. It was high 80's to 90. It only rained one time the whole time we were there. While we were there we had breakfast and dinner with some of the characters. I think the best one we went too would be dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Step Mother and two Step Sisters. They played the parts great. The girls had a great time with them at dinner. We were all laughing.

It was a great vacation and we all had a great time.

Easter dinner was pizza. It was really good but weird eating pizza on Easter instead of ham and all the other good stuff.

Just a few Pictures

Just wanted to share a couple of pictures of the girls. We have been so busy with soccer, birthday parties, girl scouts and everything else that comes up. Sydney just got her report card and she did great we are so proud of her. She is playing soccer and has a lot of her friends on her team this year. We are also still doing girl scouts. So we are busy with Sydney for sure. Brooke is my wild child. She is too funny. Since she turned three everything is now "I'm taller". So she when you tell her she can not do something because she is little she says no I'm taller I can do it. She is for sure my wild child. For Easter we are going to Florida for Spring Break and taking the girls to Disney. This will be Sydney's third time going and this will be Brooke's first time going. This is our first family trip has a family of four. Normally we go to Michigan or we go on trips with family so this is our first trip with just the four of us. My sister Kathy and her family will be in Florida when we go down so we will get to see them for the first three days in Cocoa Beach and then they have to leave to go back home. We will leave on Monday to go up to Disney. The girls are so excited about going. We are counting down the days until we leave. We are all doing well just been really busy with the girls.

Brooke Turns Three

I can not believe that my little baby Brooke turned three. It just seems like yesterday I was getting ready to have her and now she is three. I guess I should not call her my little baby she is now my big girl. I have told both girls that they may be big girls now but no matter how old they get they will always be my little babies.

Mimi Smith, Aunt Holly and Aunt Nikki came to help celebrate Brooke's birthday along with all of her friends from the neighborhood. She had a Dora birthday. She got a lot of great gifts from her friends. She had a great time.

Since her birthday fell on a Monday this year we had her birthday party on Saturday and then on Monday we took Brooke to Red Robin for her birthday. That has been our tradition with Sydney since she turned two and now we are also taking Brooke there. We have dinner and then after they bring out ice cream, balloons and sing Happy Birthday. Brooke loved it. Then we came home and she got to open up more birthday presents. She had such a great birthday.

We also found out that come this fall Brooke will be going to preschool school. She will be going three days a week from 9 to 12. She is so excited to be able to go to school like her big sister. I on the other hand don't know what I'm going to do with myself. We are so excited for her.

Where did February Go??

What happened to February? I can not believe on fast the month went by. Guess with everything going on with the girls it was a busy month. The beginning of February Papa and Mimi Wilson came in for a long weekend. The girls were so excited to see them and we were too. Sydney made 100 days at school and had to do a 100 day project. So she painted 100 hearts on a shirt and wore it to school for 100 days in school. She was also in a play at school which Shawn and I went and saw her in. She was a penguin. She also got pinned in Girl Scouts. She also just started soccer practice for the Spring. She is one busy girl right now.

Brooke is getting so big and trying to be like her big sister. The weather has also finely warmed up here and we have been outside a lot playing and enjoying the warm weather.
