Daddy finally said yes...Girls got their ears pierced

So finally after talking to Shawn over and over he decide that it would be O.K. for the girls to get their ears pierced. They have been asking and every time he always said no. And since Mimi was here she has also been wanting them to get their ears done and she wanted to do it for them. So it was an early Christmas present from Papa and Mimi Smith. We went to Clare's to have their ears pierced however the first one we went to they only had one girl working and Sydney did not want it done unless they could do both ears at the same time. So Brooke was ready and had her ears done one at a time. She did great with one at time. After Brooke was done we had to go all the way to the mall for Sydney (which was crazy) for her to have her ears done at the same time. We went to the mall and they had four girls working so two of them did her ears. She also did great. Both girls are so happy and have been showing everybody. They both can't wait to go to school tomorrow to show their teachers and friends.

Brooke's Thanksgiving Fest

At Brooke's school they had a little Thanksgiving program where they say Thanksgiving songs to us and after the program they had a fest for the us. Brooke was an Indian and the 4 years old were the pilgrims. It was a cute little program.

End of the Soccer Season

The soccer season has come to an end again. I'm happy but I also sad because we will miss seeing all of our friends. Our team the Green Dragons played great this season. We made it all the way in the tournament and got second place medals. We played a really tough team and the game was really emotional. We only lost three games this season all to the same time. Two in regular season and the tournament game that is great for our team who in years pass only won one game the whole season. We are all so proud of our kids they did great this year. Sydney almost scored her first goal but could not get the ball in goal and had to pass it off to her friend Sara who was able to get the ball in goal. She was upset but I told her she did great because she helped her friend get the ball in goal which is just as important.

So for now the season is over until Spring.

Halloween 2011

The girls were so excited for Halloween to come and to go trick n treating. Sydney was Tangled and Brooke was Cinderella. They both had so much fun trick n treating and got lots of candy to last them awhile.
